Amanda Hein, MD

About Dr. Hein

In her practice, Dr. Hein offers the full spectrum of general surgery services, as well as select robotic surgery procedures. She also has a special interest in cancer care. As a patient-centered provider, Dr. Hein takes a “teamwork” approach with her patients. Emphasizing the importance of active patient involvement in healthcare decisions, she shares, “I believe it’s important to treat my patients as a partner in their own care. I work closely with them to ensure they have a comfortable experience and a clear understanding of everything involved in the treatment process.”

A native to the area, Dr. Hein received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a residency in general surgery at Marshfield Clinic. Dr. Hein is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Hein likes to stay active. A busy wife and mother of three, she loves the outdoors and taking part in any activities that involve spending time with family and family.
