About Torri Franz, DNP, APNP, FNP-C, CWCN-AP
Torri’s specialty in Vascular Surgery perfectly complements her more than 12 years of experience providing wound care for patients with vascular and other conditions. In addition to her comprehensive skills as a Doctor of Nursing Practice, her advanced wound care certification allows her to provide highly specialized care and treatments to her patients – including compression therapy, skin substitutes, and NPWT (negative pressure wound therapy).
Approaching patient care with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and empathy, Torri assists patients through challenging times by building trusting relationships, setting realistic expectations and goals, and keeping the patient and family at the center of care. “I find it easy to connect with patients, whether that is through listening and caring or with a sense of humor. I strive to help patients feel as comfortable as possible, ensuring they know they will get the best care possible.”
Torri earned her Associate of Nursing degree from Fox Valley Technical College and her Bachelor of Nursing from Marian University. She next attended University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), along with certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Certified Wound Care Nurse-Advanced Practice (CWCN-AP).
Outside of work, Torri enjoys traveling, personal fitness, and spending time outdoors with family, mostly camping, riding UTV, and fishing.
