About Shannon Huettl, PA-C
Shannon brings a broad range of experience to her patients after several years of varied practice in the field. Over time, and after working with patients experiencing conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and functional gastrointestinal disorder, she found her passion lies in educating and treating those with gastrointestinal conditions.
With an emphasis on individualized patient care, Shannon enjoys exploring each patient’s situation in-depth, keeping current with the latest research and treatment options, and collaborating with colleagues. “Gastrointestinal conditions can be complex and each patient’s situation unique. I enjoy the opportunity to provide compassionate, individualized care to each of my patients.” She also encourages open, clear communication, and working together with patients to find the best treatment options.
Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Physician Assistant Practice from University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She is also board certified and licensed as a Physician Assistant.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with family, listening to music (especially Spanish music, her favorite type), exploring the outdoors, cooking and reading.
