VEINGOGH
What is What is VeinGogh?
VeinGogh is an advanced radiofrequency procedure specifically designed to treat spider veins. Unlike traditional methods, VeinGogh uses a very fine needle to deliver precise bursts of radiofrequency energy directly to the targeted telangiectasias, or spider veins.
This energy heats up the veins, causing them to collapse instantly. As a result, the appearance of spider veins is significantly reduced, leading to smoother and clearer skin.
Effectiveness of VeinGogh
Due to its highly precise radiofrequency technology, VeinGogh typically delivers immediate results in treating spider veins. This sets it apart from more traditional methods like Sclerotherapy, which may take a few weeks to show maximum results.
However, both VeinGogh and sclerotherapy may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired outcome, depending on the extent of the spider veins.
Who is VeinGogh For?
VeinGogh is suitable for patients with purplish-blue spider veins who have had treatment for any underlying venous conditions and have cosmetic concerns related to spider veins.

Recovery Process after VeinGogh
Thanks to its minimally invasive nature, the recovery process following VeinGogh is virtually nonexistent. Patients are able to walk immediately after the procedure. Some swelling and redness in the treatment area may occur, but this typically resolves within a week. Stay out of the sun and wear SPF50 over the area for at least 2 weeks to avoid discoloration.
Follow-Up after VeinGogh
Our Fox Valley Surgical Specialists usually schedule a follow-up appointment with the patient 4 to 6 weeks after the VeinGogh procedure. During this appointment, we assess the treatment area and determine if additional sessions are necessary to achieve the desired results.
